Tailor an Aerolock to your application needs. You can easily customize your rotary valve airlock with a vented shear protector, outlet adaptor, maintenance slide gate, outlet guard, surge hopper, sight glass and more.
Vented Shear Protectors
- Assures smooth flow of material through Aerolock™.
- Mounted to inlet flange of Aerolock.
- Controls degree of rotor pocket fill, thereby avoiding material shear between rotor and
housing. - Air that could otherwise bleed back through Aerolock and impede material flow is vented through shear protector’s side and directed back into storage bin.
Outlet Adapter
- Bolts directly to round or square discharge flange of Aerolock™.
- Provides couple-in connection to conveying line.
- Mini-hopper configuration minimizes turbulence associated with material introduction.
- Prolongs Aerolock life.
- Helps prevent degradation of material being conveyed.
Maintenance Slide Gate
- Shuts off material flow into Aerolock™.
- Allows Aerolock inspection and maintenance.
- Round or square flanges.
- Bolt pattern matches that of same size Aerolock.
Outlet Guard
- Outlet guard is designed to protect operating personnel from injury.
- Safety warning: Outlet guard must be installed if Aerolock™ is positioned in a way that leaves inlet or outlet accessible.
Surge Hoppers, floor support stands, and flanged transitions
- Surge hoppers provide extra capacity above Aerolocks™ and are available in a variety of materials of construction.
- Aerolocks can be equipped with floor support stands for applications not having support from above.
- An assortment of flanged transitions are available for Aerolock inlets and outlets.
Sight Glass
- Sight glass available for installations where observing flow into or out of Aerolock™ is important.
- View tube easily removed for cleaning without disturbing installed equipment above or below.
